About us
My name's Debbie Cooper and I work full time as a qualified copyeditor and proofreader. I went into this field because I am a writer myself and the two complement each other. This means I do my job with an added quality as I understand the investment that is put in to a piece of writing and am able to view your work both from an editor's and a writer's point of view.
Qualifications
I have a diploma in Editing and Proofreading, which I studied via distance learning at the Irish Training and Education Centre (ITEC). The college and courses are accredited by both the Distance Learning and Accreditation Council, and the Institute of Learning and Management (ILM).
I am also trained in on-screen editing, and am a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SFEP)
